Eco Friendly Clothes
Materials for clothing that are classed as eco-friendly are organic sustainable cotton, hemp and commonly bamboo linen. Wool can also be classed as eco-friendly, as it is a natural fibre, but you would have to think about where the wool has come from and whether the sheep have been treated well. Boody is all about Bamboo clothing. Bamboo is very eco-friendly and I can tell you that any bamboo clothing I own is so soft, Bamboo underwear and socks are definitely worth checking out.

Aligne

Although fairly pricey, the items sold by Aligne are made to last. Buy core pieces for your wardrobe that will last you for years. They carefully choose their makers, ones who align with their own devotion to reducing carbon emissions, water consumption and waste.

Not many eco-friendly clothes shops sell swimwear, so that’s always a big tick from me. They sell a large range of clothing items at eTHikel as well as loads of things for around the home and garden too.

Veo has one of the most comprehensive sustainability pages I’ve seen on any website, and the most eco accreditations I’ve ever seen too. Not only do they sell a huge range of vegan, cruelty free and sustainable clothes for men, women and children, they also sell homewares, health and beauty products and more…

Eco-Friendly Clothes for Women & Men
It can be hard to find eco-friendly women’s clothing that isn’t just active-wear, but the above are some of the items I’ve managed to find. Eco-friendly women’s clothes can sometimes be slightly more expensive than high street fashion, but you will generally get better quality clothes that will last for longer. More importantly they are not part of fast fashion.
I’ve not yet found an eco-friendly clothing brand that sells men’s suits but I’m still looking. There is however, plenty of casual wear for men. Feel free to contact us if you know of any good websites that sell eco-friendly men’s clothes, especially suits and business attire.
