I do understand though, that many people just want to get away from it all, so I’ve searched out some of the best eco-friendly trips I could find from not just the UK but from around the world as well. Most of the tours / trips you’ll see on these travel pages are from either G Adventures or Contiki. I’ve chosen specific tours from these companies which most align with my own beliefs. Travel Restrictions. Always be aware of potential travel restrictions due to health scares, natural disasters or conflict. Check the latest foreign travel advice issued by the UK Government. Before booking it is your responsibility to check if refunds or trip postponements are possible. It is highly recommended that you get travel insurance.
